THE BETTER INVESTOR

On behalf of the entire Morton team, we would like to thank our clients, colleagues, and individuals in our community for attending our first annual Better Investor Symposium on October 18 at the Agoura Hills Recreation and Events Center.

We hope you enjoyed your experience and were able to find value in our sessions. Our primary goal for the event was to bring our community together and give them the knowledge and confidence to make better decisions for themselves and their families.

We would also like to give a special thanks to our investment team - Jeff Sarti (Chief Executive Officer), Meghan Pinchuk (Chief Investment Officer), Sasan Faiz (Managing Director of Investments), and Nadya Mets (Senior Investment Analyst). Their continuous efforts to find resilient investment solutions helped make this event possible.

We appreciate each of the fund managers that participated in our engaging roundtable discussions - Andrew Rubinstein (healthcare royalties), John Ahn (asset-based lending), David Sifford (tax-advantaged lending), Apollo Lupescu (stocks), and Rajeev Das (SPACs).

And last but certainly not least, thank you to our expert panelists - Scott Taylor, Cory Johnson, Edward Fischer, Peter Knell, Megan Pautler-Gutnikov, and Todd Williams - for sharing the stage to discuss updates in real estate investing in the current environment.

In lieu of our quarterly webinar this month, we recorded a market outlook discussion with our leaders, Jeff and Meghan, from the symposium as well as the afternoon panel discussions with our real estate lending and real estate equity managers.
