We are a registered investment advisor that was formed in 1981 and manages roughly $3 billion in assets across 1,200+ families. Our investment approach is distinctly not “Wall Street” as we are willing to look beyond traditional investments if we feel that alternative investments can more closely match our investment philosophy of risk management, true diversification and cash flow. Role Overview:
- Develop hands-on expertise in portfolio monitoring and cash management - Analyze daily cash positions, custodial alerts (Schwab & Fidelity), withdrawals, and allocation models to identify and resolve portfolio exceptions.
- Build technical trading and execution skills - Review trading screens, flag issues requiring follow-up, and collaborate closely with the Portfolio Management team to support timely trade execution.
- Gain deep exposure to investment systems and data - Set up and classify securities, maintain account cash reserves, and support reconciliation processes by researching and resolving routine breaks.
- Grow within a structured investment operations workflow - Manage trading requests, support portfolio administration, and continuously expand knowledge of allocation models, alternative investments, and rebalancing processes through hands-on experience.
- Progress towards the CFA designation is strongly preferred.
