Executive Coordinator

Human Capital
Part-time · $30/hr - $40/hr
Calabasas, CA

Morton Wealth is looking for a highly organized and proactive Executive Coordinator to provide part-time administrative and operational support to our CEO, COO, and CIO. We are an RIA that manages over $3 billion in assets across 1,200+ families. Our investment approach is distinctly not “Wall Street” as we are willing to look beyond traditional investments if we feel that alternative investments can more closely match our investment philosophy of risk management, true diversification and cash flow. In addition to our unique investment approach, we also offer comprehensive financial advice that aligns with traditional CFP® education as well as behavioral finance. This is a part-time position of approximately 15-20 hours per week, with a requirement to work in our office at least one day per week.

At Morton, our leaders are deeply committed to our team and our clients. As Executive Coordinator, you will play a meaningful role in keeping our executive team organized, connected, and focused on what matters most. You'll be the kind of person who anticipates needs before they arise, takes pride in the details, and genuinely cares about the people and culture around you.

Daily Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Manage calendars and schedule meetings for the CEO, COO, and CIO, including check-ins with direct reports and OKR meetings
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including room bookings, lunch orders, and buffer times
  • Maintain a weekly meeting agenda with follow-up reminders, employee check-in documentation, and commitment tracking
  • Support the executive team with special projects as needed

Travel Coordination

  • Arrange travel logistics including flights, hotels, transportation, parking, meal reservations, and conference bookings

Culture and Recognition

  • Identify employee milestones, achievements, and opportunities for recognition
  • Coordinate gifts, thank-you cards, and other gestures of appreciation for special events and moments
  • Keep a pulse on team culture and surface opportunities for the executive team to meaningfully engage with individuals and teams

Our ideal candidate will consistently demonstrate the following skills/competencies:

  • Exceptionally organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • A proactive communicator who follows through on commitments and keeps others informed
  • Discreet and trustworthy — you understand the importance of confidentiality at the executive level
  • Warm and people-oriented, with a genuine interest in the well-being of the team around you
  • Comfortable working independently in a part-time capacity while staying closely connected to the needs of a fast-moving leadership team

Requirements

  • Prior experience in an executive assistant or administrative coordinator role is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work in our office at least one day per week
  • Proficiency with calendar management tools and general office software

Our Offer

  • A part-time role with meaningful impact at a values-driven firm
  • A collaborative, people-first culture where your contributions are noticed and appreciated
